Meatball Sliders

I would love to come up with a super cool name for this, but it is a simple meal with a simple recipe.
Prep Time 18 minutes
Cook Time 15 minutes
Cooling Time 5 minutes
Total Time 40 minutes
Servings: 6 people
Course: Main Course
Cuisine: American, Italian

Ingredients

  • 6 individual Meatballs
  • 1 cup Marinara Sauce
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1 pack Hawaiian Rolls

Method

  1. Cook your meatballs according to the package. Once they are ready, put them on a cutting board and cut them in half (this is optional, but I have more luck with my kids eating it if the meatballs are smaller.)
  2. Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half (or open them, if you have the precut kind) and place in a baking dish. I use the glass pyrex dishes because they are almost the perfect size!
  3. Spread half of the cheese on the bottom of the buns then add one meatball to each slider/roll.
  4. Add a dollop of marinara sauce to the top of each meatball.
  5. Spread the remainder of the cheese across the top of the meatballs. Once complete, close the buns.
  6. Top with tin foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. For the last 5 minutes, pull the tin foil off.
  7. Remove from the oven and let it cool before enjoying!
