Meatball sliders are my favorite mid-week go-to meal. Any meal with Hawaiian slider buns is an easy one and always a crowd-pleaser in my home. But the meatball sliders are my favorite!
The meatball sliders do a great job getting protein in my kids while still having tomato sauce (we can call that a vegetable, right?) So I feel like I presented a healthy meal with no fights!

Meatball Sliders
I would love to come up with a super cool name for this, but it is a simple meal with a simple recipe.
Ingredients
Method
- Cook your meatballs according to the package. Once they are ready, put them on a cutting board and cut them in half (this is optional, but I have more luck with my kids eating it if the meatballs are smaller.)
- Cut the Hawaiian rolls in half (or open them, if you have the precut kind) and place in a baking dish. I use the glass pyrex dishes because they are almost the perfect size!
- Spread half of the cheese on the bottom of the buns then add one meatball to each slider/roll.
- Add a dollop of marinara sauce to the top of each meatball.
- Spread the remainder of the cheese across the top of the meatballs. Once complete, close the buns.
- Top with tin foil and bake in a 350 degree oven for 10 minutes. For the last 5 minutes, pull the tin foil off.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool before enjoying!
